Your pet is alive

An egg hatches into a baby. How well you look after it decides who it grows into — there are six different adults plus a secret one. Neglect it and it will get sick, and eventually die.

⏱ 1 real minute = 1 hour in your pet's world. A full day passes in 24 real minutes and ages your pet one year.

The three buttons on the device are A, S and D, left to right — the same keys on your keyboard. You can also click an icon on the screen directly, or drag the device to tilt it.

The eight icons

Feed — a meal fills one hunger heart and adds 1 lb. A snack fills one happy heart but adds 2 lb, and too many snacks make your pet sick.

Light — your pet sleeps from 9 PM to 9 AM. When it goes to bed, turn the light off. Leaving it on is a mistake.

Game — play "left or right". Win 3 of 5 rounds for a happy heart, and lose a pound of weight.

💊

Medicine — cures sickness. Sometimes it takes two doses.

Toilet — flush away poop. Let four pile up and your pet falls ill.

Meter — check hunger, happiness, age, weight and training. Press A to page through.

Scold — the right answer when your pet cries for no reason. Fills the training meter by 25%.

Attention — not a button. It lights up and beeps when your pet needs you.

Answering the call

When ❗ lights up, check what your pet wants. Empty hunger or happy hearts mean feed it or play with it. If both meters are fine and it is still crying, it wants nothing — that is a tantrum, and the correct answer is 📢 Scold. Feeding a tantrum instead counts against you.

Ignore a call for about 15 pet-minutes and it becomes a care mistake. Mistakes decide who your pet becomes.

Growing up

Egg → baby → child → teenager → adult. Careful feeding, quick answers and a full training meter lead to the brightest adults. Sloppy care leads somewhere else entirely — every ending is a real character worth meeting.

Sickness left untreated, or a pet ignored for too long, will die — and adults die of old age eventually no matter what. When that happens you get a fresh egg and a new try.

Closing the tab

Your pet keeps living while you are away. Come back later and it may have eaten through its hearts, made a mess, or grown up without you. Everything is saved automatically.
